Beneficiary Stories
- A Single Mother’s Hope Restored: “This food has lifted a heavy burden. For the first time in a long time, my children and I will be able to feed well and I am so grateful to the organizers of this programme.” – Mrs Ade, a single mother of 3 from Bariga.
- Supporting the Elderly: “My neighbour was the one who was contacted for the free food. However, she just lost her husband and couldn’t come so she gave me her invite code to take the food for my family. I am glad to be receiving this because I have been thinking of what to give my aged mother of 118 years who stays in Badagry.. With this food, I now have something to give my mother for Christmas” – Mrs Suru A. from Sholuyi Gbagada.

Volunteer Contribution
Over 30 volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure smooth distribution. Their dedication was pivotal in the implementation of this initiative

Transparency and Accountability
Every donation directly supported families in need. From public donations, we raised a total of ₦954,250. The total expenses, including food procurement, logistics, transportation, and administrative costs, amounted to ₦2,647,600.00. While the donated amount was less than the needed fund, Giving Hands trustees donated the sum of ₦1,693,350.00 to cover the difference and ensure the initiative’s success.
